Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week with rotating weekends | Projected Start: 07/27/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed Med/Surg unit with a 1:7 patient ratio
• Perform unit-level procedures including EKGs, glucose monitoring (GLUMs), and venipuncture
• Document patient care and clinical information using the Meditech electronic health records system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a clinical nurse coordinator, PCTs, and a unit coordinator per shift
• Adhere to floating policy — contract staff may be first to float to like units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active, current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of patient experience in a Med/Surg setting
• Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience
• Required uniform: royal blue scrub top and bottom

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced Med/Surg environment
• Comfort with rotating weekend scheduling
