Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Medical/Surgical setting as part of a float pool team
- Float to all Medical/Surgical units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient information and clinical findings using EPIC electronic health records system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Current BLS/certification card required
- Ability to float to all Medical/Surgical areas as assigned with no time-off requests during the contract period
- Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior float pool experience in a Medical/Surgical environment
- Strong adaptability and ability to transition between multiple units efficiently
