Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit with a strong focus on neurological patient populations
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Perform and document neurological assessments using the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience
- Strong neurological nursing background required
- Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
- Familiarity with stroke protocols and neuro-focused care pathways
