Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
- Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Establish and manage IV access, including PICC lines
- Assist with and support Conscious Sedation procedures
- Assist with Lumbar Punctures as directed by the care team
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Conscious Sedation competency required
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Experience with PICC line placement and management
- Familiarity with Lumbar Puncture assistance procedures
