    Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards of practice
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
    • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for responses and adverse effects
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
    • Accurately document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions in the electronic health record
    • Maintain a safe patient environment and adhere to infection control and regulatory compliance standards
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
    • Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
    • Current BLS certification (ACLS may be required)
    • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
    • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
    • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in acute care facilities
    • Experience with high patient acuity and diverse patient populations
