Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, Friday / Saturday / Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Perform and assist with unit-level procedures including abdominal fluid removal and central line placement
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR
- Float to inpatient Medical Surgical units as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, LVNs, techs, and HUC staff
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for practice in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care experience
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with standard medical/surgical equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro Med/Surgical background
- Experience in general medicine and orthopedics
- Collaborative, patient-centered personality with strong interpersonal skills
