Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a heavy focus on orthopedic and general surgery patients
- Float within like units as needed and potentially to a sister campus
- Complete orientation modules during the onboarding period (approximately 6–8 hours, non-billable)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation; Altera (formerly Allscripts) charting experience preferred
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including mandatory drug screening upon arrival
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand required at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- Certification verification required
- Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a plan in place for completion within that timeframe
- Candidates must reside more than 150 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates are not accepted)
- Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year prior to returning as a traveler
- Facility conducts a mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including screening for marijuana and CBD products; a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Altera charting system preferred
