Job Title

Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – Nights

Location

Aberdeen, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (18:45–07:15) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Float to other departments on a rotation basis as needed
• Collaborate as part of a team-oriented nursing staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all facility and unit-specific protocols and documentation requirements
• Utilize electronic health record systems; experience with Meditech is helpful

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN license or a Multistate Compact RN license (accepted with required verifications)
• Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training required for compact license holders
• Verification of demographics through Nursys required for compact license holders
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must be a team player and willing to float to other departments in rotation
• Requested time off must be pre-approved and will be added to the end of the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records
• Previous Medical/Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
