The role involves participating in investigations of member-centric and systemic quality-of-care concerns. Timeliness and thoroughness are vital for member health and well-being. Investigates all division member quality-of-care issues and implements corrective action plans. Utilizes a standardized process for investigations. Makes appropriate referrals to oversight and regulatory agencies. Participates in various member issue-related tasks as assigned. Maintains necessary documentation to support case work. Requests appropriate documentation for quality-of-care investigations. Ensures the maintenance of comprehensive case records to support allegation review. As a result of the investigation, issues remediation or corrective plans to the vendor. Ensures all relevant information and documents are uploaded within the designated portal. Appropriately elevates cases and trend concerns to the supervisor. Skills in research and analysis are essential. Decision-making skills and the ability to analyze problems effectively are required. Proficiency in medical chart reviews and utilizing the nursing process is crucial. Demonstrated organization and time management skills are necessary for success in this role.
