Experience: Minimum of 24 months of MS/Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting required.
License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
Must-Have:
- 24 months of current MS/Medical Surgical experience required.
- Patient care experience in abdominal areas required.
- Heparin experience required.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
- Recent/current Level II trauma experience required.
- No first-time travelers; must have completed a travel contract in the past 24 months required.
Description:
The position involves working in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.
Nurses will provide care to patients with various general and abdominal conditions.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6-7.
Candidates must be willing to float across all campuses.
The unit requires candidates to work holidays as needed, unless the unit is closed.
Nurses will work closely with a team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Successful candidates will have strong communication and clinical skills.
