Description:
This is a 37-bed surgical unit that also accommodates overflow medical patients.
Typically, RNs care for 4 patients during the day shift and 5-6 patients during the night shift.
New nurses are welcome to apply.
Weekend shifts are required every third weekend.
Nurses may float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius.
Pending license applications are accepted.
Candidates should ideally have no more than 5 days of requested time off.
Census on the unit averages 35 patients daily.
Interdisciplinary support includes teams such as IV therapy, physical therapy, and rapid response.
Candidates are required to work with adult and geriatric populations.
Travelers will receive a stipend for completing pre-start modules.
All applicants must have a supervisor reference available at the time of submission.
Candidates will be required to complete fingerprinting for background checks as part of the hiring process.
