Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the In Patient Rehabilitation and Medical Surgical specialty.
The nurse will care for adults and geriatrics with conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, neurological diseases, critical illnesses, and more.
Ratios for patient care are 1:6 on night shifts.
There is a charge nurse on each shift.
Nurse aides and patient care techs are available with ratios of 1:10-15.
Shifts run from 18:30 to 07:00.
Weekend shifts are required at a minimum of every third weekend.
Holiday shifts are required at a minimum of two holidays.
There is no call or standby requirement.
The nurse may float to the medical surgical unit as needed.
The charting system used is EPIC.
Strong organizational skills and teamwork are essential for success in this role.
The use of artificial nails is prohibited for patient care providers.
A driver's license is required.
RTO should be provided upfront, and additional RTO will not be approved.
The facility reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts during the assignment.
