Description:
Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit.
Provide leadership within the nursing team.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team.
Focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
May support emergency room overflow, adult and geriatric psychiatry, and inpatient rehabilitation units.
May be responsible for pediatric patients when floated to the emergency room depending on the RN's experience.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
BSN preferred.
Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with state regulations.
