**Unit Profile:**
- **Floor:** 7th – Neuro/Ortho/Peds
- **Trauma Level:** 2
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:6
- **Number of Beds:** 24
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Shift:** Night (7P-7A)
- **Weekend Requirement:** 3 weekends every 6 weeks
- **Call Requirements:** None
**Position Requirements:**
- **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Required Certifications:** BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Preferred)
- **Experience:** 2+ years, including adults and preferably pediatrics
- **Float Requirements:** Yes, to inpatient units
**Unit Information:**
- **Patient Population:** All ages over 28 days
- **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:** Trauma, Post-operative Orthopedic/Neurological care, General Pediatric Unit (averaging 0-3 rooms)
- **Supervisor Coverage:** 1-2 supervisors
- **EHR System:** Paragon transitioning to Cerner on 3/1/24
**Hiring Profile:**
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:** 2+ years with adults
- **Preferred Skills/Experience:** 2+ years with pediatrics
- **Personality Fit:** Teamwork and collaboration are essential!
**Education:**
- **Required:** Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
