Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week with rotating weekends; 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio (estimated)

Highlights:

  • 40-bed medical-surgical unit with strong clinical support including clinical nurse coordinator, unit secretary, and multiple patient care technicians per shift
  • Utilize Meditech electronic medical record system for documentation
  • Perform a variety of clinical procedures including EKGs, glucose monitoring, and venipuncture

  • Supportive team environment with experienced staff and strong managerial leadership
  • Contract labor floats first to similar units when needed

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia RN license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience
  • Ability to work rotating weekends
  • Royal blue scrubs (top and bottom) required
