Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Nursing Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 7P-7A Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required; 5 years preferred License: RN license required Certifications: CPR required; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, EKG required Must-Have: Travel experience, cardiac monitoring, sedation, pain management, chest tube care Description: Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process, within established standards and practices for assigned patients. Assesses and reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients. Applies the nursing process to ensure optimal patient care. Performs head-to-toe assessments on all patients and re-assessments as per policy. Provides individualized, age-specific care to support homeostatic regulation, hemodynamic monitoring, and physiologic functioning. Maintains accurate nursing documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments, and assessment of changes. Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity while maintaining patient confidentiality.
