**Job Description:**
- **Start Date:** 12/14
- **Location:** 2316 E Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64114
- **Unit:** 6W Transplant Nephrology
- **Number of Beds:** 20
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:6
- **Staffing Support:**
- Unit Secretary available during the day
- Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) on hand
- Dedicated unit educator
- **Documentation System:** Meditech
- **Scheduling Requirements:**
- 3 weekend shifts/month
- **On-Call Requirements:** None
- **Floating Policy:** Agency/Contract nurses float first
- **Patient Experience Requirements:** Focus on excellent patient care and support
- **Certifications:**
- Level 1 trauma certified facility
- BLS required
- **Dress Code:**
- Royal blue scrubs; black scrub pants allowed
- **Unit Procedures:**
- Med/surg care; dialysis performed off the unit
