**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Travel RN on 6E!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Travel RN - **Unit:** 6 East Ortho/Trauma - **Location:** Kansas City, Missouri - **Schedule:** 7 PM - 7 AM - **Guaranteed Hours:** 48 hours preferred - **Start Date:** 12/14 **About the Unit:** - **Number of Beds:** 23 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:4, 1:5 - **Staffing Support:** Unit Secretary and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) - **Type of Equipment Used:** - Traction - Fixators - Cooling equipment - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Scheduling Requirements:** - 3 twelve-hour shifts per week - 3 weekend shifts per schedule period - **Floating Policy:** Contract labor is first to float; may float to other MedSurg level care units (General MS, Nephrology, Neuro/Trauma) - **Patient Experience Standards:** - Bedside shift report - Hourly rounding **Required Qualifications:** - **Licenses/Certifications:** - RN License - BLS Certification - **Advanced Skills:** - Ortho experience - Telemetry experience - NIH Stroke Scale knowledge - **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Post-operative knee, hip, and shoulder replacements - Trauma patients - Neuro overflow cases **Dress Code:** - Navy scrubs are required. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
