Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Neurology – North Carolina

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week, patient ratio 1:6, every other weekend required (5-6 weekend shifts per contract period)

Requirements:
- Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Proficiency in IV starts and peripheral line management
- Experience with 6-7 patient ratios preferred
- Neurology experience and NIH stroke scale experience strongly preferred
- Must be willing to float to other units as needed (travelers float first)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start date

- Candidates residing within 50 miles considered local with different compensation structure
