Description:
This is a 225-bed specialty care hospital.
It offers services in heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, brain and spine care, rehabilitation, behavioral health, digestive health, bariatric medicine, weight management, women's health, and pediatrics.
The facility is equipped with advanced imaging, surgical, and laboratory services.
The unit has 36 beds, and the patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:5-6 for cardiac patients and 1:3-4 for PCU/stepdown patients.
Telemetry monitoring is available.
The electronic health record system used is Cerner.
The patient population primarily consists of cardiac patients with stepdown level of care.
Common diagnoses include chest pain, VATS, stroke/TIA, pre-and post-open heart surgery, pacemakers, heart blocks, vascular conditions, and congestive heart failure.
Teamwork is essential in this role.
Dress code includes blue or navy scrubs, while unacceptable attire includes blue jeans.
