Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Oncology Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 3x12 or 4x12 schedules available; weekdays with every other weekend rotation
Highlights:
- 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with medical-surgical overflow
- Patient ratios of 1:5-6 with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response
- 13-week initial contract with strong potential for extension
- Flexible contract lengths accepted; facility is open to longer assignments
- Cerner EMR system with 12 hours of orientation provided
- Oncology experience preferred but not required; ideal opportunity to develop specialty skills
Requirements:
- Active West Virginia or Compact State RN License
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
- Preferred certifications: ONS chemo/bio certification, OCN, ONS/ONCC
- Competency in IV starts and central line management
- Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
- Must maintain permanent address at least 100 miles from facility location
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
- Strong attendance record required; facility maintains strict attendance expectations
