Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Ohio. This role requires an experienced RN to provide specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive cardiac interventions. The nurse will work within a dynamic healthcare team, focusing on monitoring complex cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse- Monitor patients' cardiovascular status using telemetry and other devices.
- Assess and respond to cardiac complications like arrhythmias or myocardial infarction.
- Administer medications including antiarrhythmics and manage IV drips.
- Provide post-surgical and cardiac intervention care.
- Educate patients about their conditions, medications, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to formulate care plans.
- Respond to emergencies like cardiac arrest by providing CPR or defibrillation.
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
Requirements of the Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse- 2 years of nursing experience in Cardiac Stepdown
- Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing or Multi-State and can work in OH
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
