Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical nursing. The nurse will work in an adult acute care unit caring for patients with various conditions, including elective surgeries and trauma. The nurse will be assigned a patient ratio of 1:6. Floating within skill set may be required. Charge nurse responsibilities may also be expected. The role includes participation in rapid response and code teams. The candidate must be comfortable with various patient demographics, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience in a community hospital is preferred. The nurse should have prior charge experience and experience working within a Med/Surg patient population. The position requires the ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
