Provide direct patient care across multiple medical surgical units as part of a float pool assignment
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Rhode Island or compact equivalent
Current BLS certification required
Experience in a medical surgical setting
Ability to float across multiple units and adapt to varying patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior float pool or multi-unit experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to quickly acclimate to new environments and team dynamics
