Scheduling typically requires 3 twelve-hour shifts, with a focus on every other weekend available. Floating may occur on an as-needed basis. The unit performs procedures such as wound care, I/O catheterizations, and tracheostomy care. The dress code consists of navy blue or white scrubs.
