Documentation is performed using Meditech. Scheduling requires three 12-hour shifts and three weekend shifts per schedule period. Contract labor is prioritized for floating. Potential floating to other Med Surg level of care units may occur. Patient experience standards include bedside shift report and hourly rounding. Advanced skills in orthopedics and trauma care are needed. Procedures performed include post-operative knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as trauma and neuro overflow patients.
