The unit is equipped with standard medical equipment for a medical-surgical setting. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Staff is required to work 36 hours per week with rotating weekends. Contract labor is the first to float to similar units. A minimum of 1 year of patient experience is required. The unit performs EKGs, Glucose tests, and Venipunctures.
