Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical / Oncology – New York
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Central New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; 56-bed unit; floating required as needed
Highlights:
- Specialized unit focusing on Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine
- Diverse case mix including cancer diagnoses, ESRD, diabetes, abdominal pain, and dermatological conditions
- Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes, and specialty beds
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- Adult patient population (18 years and older)
- Travel nursing assignment with competitive compensation package
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license (must be verified through NURSYS with all RN licenses listed)
- Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Oncology nursing
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
- Valid driver's license
- Completion of specialty-specific skills checklist
