Description:
This position involves working as a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical setting.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with various medical diagnoses, including COVID-19.
The nurse must have experience in blood product administration and management of dysrhythmias.
Responsibilities also include starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry, wound care, and palliative care.
The nurse will participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds, focusing on elderly patients.
Float opportunities to other units or facilities may be required.
The role also involves collaborating with support teams such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
The patient-to-nurse ratio will never exceed the mandated state limit.
The position requires effective communication and teamwork skills.
