Description:
Backfill needed ASAP.
Rotating shifts include two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts.
This facility is a 250-bed academic community hospital serving the region for more than 120 years.
It is the region's only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center.
Accredited by the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Surgeons for various services.
The facility offers comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour emergency department services, home health and hospice agency, and advanced wound healing center.
Additional services include a cardiac rehabilitation center, two catheterization labs, a day surgery center, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.
Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays.
All travelers must have required certifications prior to start.
Random drug screens are completed on site.
Candidates must consent to random drug screening and complete a criminal questionnaire/consent form.
Additional call requirements involve weekends, with the possibility of overnight call during the week, though it is unlikely.
Floating in scope of practice may be required.
Patient ratios are 1:1.
The electronic health record system used is Meditech.
The patient population served includes all ages.
Ideal candidates should be motivated, proactive, easy-going, and professional.
Required dress code includes navy blue scrubs provided by the facility.
