Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 4+ years of current Medical Surgical, Cardiac, or Neuro experience required License: Active Massachusetts RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: High proficiency in cardiac/neuro patients Description: This position is for a cardiac/neuro unit. Travelers with experience only in Medical Surgical are ineligible for this need. A skills checklist demonstrating high proficiency in cardiac/neuro patient care must be provided. A willingness to float to different units is required. Completion of a basic dysrhythmia course is strongly required. Experience with Meditech Expanse is preferred. Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment. Requests for time off must be included in the profile for consideration. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Travelers must work during designated holiday times as specified. This unit typically has a patient ratio of 1:6. Personal scrubs of any color are required. Every other weekend and holiday work may be required.
