Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate delivery of care for the assigned patient population from admission through discharge
  • Address all aspects of patients' physical, psychosocial, safety, and educational needs, including support for family and support systems
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursing peers, attending physicians, and ancillary support services
  • Apply the nursing process, medical therapeutics, technology, and personal interventions to achieve patient care goals
  • Maintain current CA RN License, ACLS, and BLS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
  • Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at travel rates; local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate
  • Two professional references obtained within the last year required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry setting
  • Familiarity with interdisciplinary care coordination and discharge planning
  • Experience working night shift in an acute care environment
