Key Responsibilities of the Med Surg RN

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Manage patient assessments and observations
• Administer medications and help with treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Requirements of the Med Surg RN

• Valid NY State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH certifications
• Experience with EPIC software
