Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – Indiana
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts per week
Highlights:
- 32-bed Medical/Surgical unit with remote telemetry monitoring (ordered as needed, monitored 24/7)
- Diverse patient population including stable ventilator patients, BiPAP, renal (acute/chronic renal failure), dialysis, fluid overload, and general medical/surgical patients
- Experience with IV drips including Heparin and Dopamine (constant rate for renal perfusion, no titration)
- Collaborate with Internal Medicine physicians, Family Practice providers, and hospitalist overflow teams
- Cerner charting system in an acute care setting
- Flexible cancellation policy: up to 2 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks, up to 3 shifts for assignments 13 weeks or longer
Requirements:
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
- NIHSS (AHA Only) certification required
- Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Experience with telemetry monitoring, IV drip management, and ventilator patients highly valued
