Description:
Join our dedicated Med/Surg team in a 16-bed unit.
You will provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population.
We maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
This ensures high-quality, personalized care in a supportive environment.
You will deliver compassionate nursing care to patients with various medical conditions.
Conditions include respiratory issues, cellulitis, and congestive heart failure, as well as surgical cases.
Surgical cases include colon resections and orthopedic procedures.
You will monitor patients using telemetry.
RNs are responsible for interpreting their own telemetry strips.
Collaboration with a small team is essential.
The team includes a clinical care coordinator and a charge nurse who actively takes patient assignments.
Assistance is available from a house supervisor on weekends.
There may be opportunities to assist in outpatient infusions, although experience is preferred.

There is a strong focus on thorough charting due to our commitment to quality care.
