Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs, responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• Initiate and maintain the computerized Plan of Care upon patient admission
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other departments as qualified and assigned
• Participate in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN or MSN degree
• Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification
• Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• CRASE training (required if travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period)
