Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med/Surg, Night Shift) – New Mexico

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, full-time position with rotating weekend and on-call requirements (2-4 shifts per month each)

Requirements:

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license
• BLS Certification via American Heart Association required
• 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Ability to work night shifts with weekend and on-call rotation

Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given in EPIC system
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
