Description:
Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing.
Ensures compliance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice.
Utilizes equipment such as Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations.
Requires training in Meditech and OBIX, including unit-specific orientation.
The nurse-to-patient ratio adheres to national standards.
Dress code is scrubs, which are provided.
Completion of medication testing is required once on site.
