Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) | Weekend and holiday requirements based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 96-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:4-6
• Manage and titrate drips, including Heparin, within established protocols
• Validate, read, and document telemetry strips in collaboration with monitor technicians
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, pneumonia, general surgical conditions, stroke, and cardiac conditions
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed based on census
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse aides (ratio 1:8-16) to ensure safe, quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience titrating drips, particularly Heparin, in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with a high-acuity Medical Surgical/Telemetry patient population including stroke and cardiac diagnoses
• Prior experience working alongside monitor technicians in a telemetry-capable environment
