Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,339 per week in Gig Harbor, WA

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed MedSurg/Telemetry unit serving post-surgical (general, orthopedic, urological, gynecological) and medical overflow patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-6, delivering safe and effective nursing care within scope of practice
• Titrate drips including heparin, blood products, and IV fluids as ordered
• Validate, read, and document telemetry strips; collaborate with off-site monitor technicians
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed based on census
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage based on unit needs, including major holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Ability to titrate drips (heparin, blood, IV fluids)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a MedSurg/Telemetry setting with post-surgical patient populations
• Familiarity with reading and documenting telemetry strips independently
• Experience floating within a hospital environment across multiple units
