Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Medical-Surgical nursing for a travel assignment in Wheeling, WV. This role involves working in a 30-bed acute care setting, providing care for patients with common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, and more. The position requires flexibility with floating as needed and involves working under nurse ratios of up to 1:7.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients
- Manage patient assessments, treatments, and monitor responses to treatment
- Administer medications and perform routine treatments as prescribed
- Observe and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Titrate heparin drips based on aPTT results
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Current RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
