Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical – Kansas
Start Date: Multiple orientation dates available starting October 5, 2026 (bi-weekly orientations)

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week with every other weekend rotation
Highlights:
- 32-bed general medical inpatient unit caring for a diverse patient population including respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurological, musculoskeletal conditions, dialysis (hemo and peritoneal), sepsis, and various infections
- Epic charting system with test-out option available
- Contract length of 26-51 weeks preferred; longer contracts receive priority consideration
- 1:6 nurse-to-patient staffing ratio

- Holiday policy allows one requested holiday off per contract period
Requirements:
- Active Kansas or Multistate RN license (must be active at time of submission; no license with restrictions accepted)
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care medical/surgical experience
- ADN or BSN degree
- No first-time travelers; previous travel nursing experience required
- Immunity documentation or vaccination records: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella titers; TDaP; Influenza (or exemption during flu season); TB documentation
- Willingness to float to other post-surgical and medical-surgical inpatient floors as needed
