Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical care.
The role involves working with adult patients only.
The patient population consists of various medical conditions, such as chest pain, asthma exacerbations, transient ischemic attacks, abdominal pain, urinary issues, blood sugar issues, deep vein thrombosis/pulmonary embolism, cellulitis, and post-procedural monitoring.
Telemetry experience is preferred.
The work schedule requires the ability to work weekends and holidays.
There is a possibility to float to other units as needed.
The typical patient ratio is approximately 1:5, though there are no defined ratios.
The position requires competency in interpreting telemetry and ECGs.
Dress code requires scrubs in specified color.
All attendance policies must be strictly adhered to.
Failure to meet attendance requirements may result in contract termination.
All absences must be made up to maintain contracted hours.
