Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care across a Medical Surgical unit
Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care based on patient needs, acuity, and clinical priorities
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and determine priorities for care
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage overall patient care
Advocate for and support evidence-based practice standards and innovations in care delivery
Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
NIHSS certification required
CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours certification required
Proficiency in general Medical Surgical nursing skills including Vent/Trach Care, Telemetry, Perinatal, and Dialysis
Preferred Experience / Skills
BSN degree preferred
Telemetry certification preferred
Experience with Epic EMR
