The shift is 4x12s, days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Patient ratios are 1:6-7. The staffing plan supports normal ratios but may flex to 1:7 if there is an unplanned absence. Weekend requirement is every other weekend. On-call may be required as needed due to low census. Travelers will need to float within scope to meet facility needs. Experience in Med/Surg and MS/Tele is needed. Skills required include telemetry, insulin management, and participation in rapid response situations. All typical adult med-surg diagnoses will be managed in this role. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. All required time off must be included at the time of submission. Travelers will not be cleared to report until the SC license is active. All labs must be completed promptly and prior to start compliance. Modules may average about 4 hours and are included in the onboarding process.
