Description: We are seeking a nurse for a new department focused on admissions. This position requires working in a fast-paced, short-term acute care environment. The unit is designed for rapid patient throughput, with an ideal length of stay of 4 hours or less. Nurses will be responsible for initiating admission orders. Completing the admission navigator is part of the role. Documentation of the initial admission assessment is required. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly and remain efficient in a dynamic, high-volume environment. Experience managing cardiac and anticoagulant drips, such as Cardizem and Heparin, is crucial. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a setting requiring strong time management and clinical judgment.
