Requirements:
- Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state compact RN license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to respond effectively to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols
- Excellent time management and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, and IV routes
- Monitor patients pre- and post-surgery, including vital signs and specialized equipment
- Perform bedside procedures including dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV starts
- Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, illness management, and post-treatment home care needs
- Document all care activities accurately and completely in a timely manner
- Participate actively in discharge planning processes
