Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Provide care for patients with acute or chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, and infections
• Manage cardiac patients post-cath, CHF, and a-fib
• Perform post-surgical care for general, ortho, and trauma cases
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and develop discharge plans
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage tele skills, including post-cath site care
• Administer and titrate drips for HR, including insulin and Cardizem

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
• Pass EKG competency exam during onboarding
• Certification in med surg is a plus
