Job Opportunity – Medical Oncology Registered Nurse – Michigan
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Michigan

Schedule: Every other weekend rotation; no on-call requirement
Highlights:
- Provide specialized care for patients with cancer diagnoses, medical step-down patients, and general medical overflow
- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and care coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Work with diverse patient population requiring knowledge of cancer pathophysiology and acute care management
- Travel assignment with competitive compensation package
- Direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and care plan evaluation
Requirements:
- Active Michigan RN license (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Oncology nursing experience required
- Experience with medical step-down patient populations
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- Current skills checklist pertinent to Medical-Surgical specialty (within 1 year)
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Candidates must reside outside of 50-mile radius from facility location
