License: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse. Certifications: BLS (AHA) required. Must-Have: Ability to float between units as needed. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. Position requires a day shift schedule. The nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience. The role will include potential floating to sister facilities based on unit needs. Charting is done using the Epic system. Nurse-patient ratios may be 1:5 but can flex based on staffing needs. Weekend coverage requirements will be determined by unit needs. The nurse must demonstrate skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Additional skills include oxygen administration and peripheral line care. This position may involve working with rapid response and code teams. Completion of facility-specific modules and training is required.
